Iblea Ship Management invites high caliber professionals to apply for the position of Sr. Technical Superintendent. The main scope of the role is to monitor and evaluate assigned vessels’ performance and arrange corrective action when required, attending vessels as necessary. Member of the Emergency Response Team with responsibilities for technical issues. The role reports directly to the Technical Manager.

What we need:

• Experience on board Vessels as Chief Engineer / additional academic background would be appreciated
• Proof of office experience in Owner & Managing company
• Understanding and experience of PMS, Main Equipment requirement along with latest Industry standard (Electronic Injection engines, Equipment LO Shore analysis requirement and management, Scrubber system and regulation, Ballast Water treatment and regulation, EEXI, etc)
• Knowledge in guidance and monitoring vessel engine staff and in close cooperation with the Technical, MSW and other departments to manage assigned vessels as per Company’s policy and safety management system

Skills/ Qualifications:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Working knowledge of English language
• Adequate PC Knowledge
• People Management skills
• Take initiative and propose solutions
